Natural, editorial event photography that tells the whole story of the occasion.
I photograph private views, exhibitions, openings, launches, talks, creative-industry events, intimate weddings, celebrations and gatherings.
My approach is unobtrusive and observant. I’ll capture the photographs you know you need, but I’m also watching for everything happening around them... conversations, reactions, little details, small glances, the space itself and the moments that disappear almost as soon as they happen.
The result is a considered set of photographs that doesn’t just show who was there, but gives people a sense of what it felt like to be there.
Art + Private Views
Galleries and exhibitions are a world I particularly enjoy photographing. There’s something wonderful about the relationship between the artist, the work, the space and the people experiencing it.
Images can be supplied for PR, press, social media, websites, archives and future marketing.
Intimate Weddings + Gatherings
For the smaller, more personal celebrations
I photograph intimate weddings, registry office ceremonies, dinner parties and gatherings with a relaxed, documentary approach.
I’m interested in the people, atmosphere and little moments rather than turning the day into one long photoshoot.
There’ll be guidance when you need it and the important group photographs too — but the emphasis is on creating beautiful, natural images of the day as it actually felt.
